Students should produce their admission fees receipt while registering their name in the library.
Those who were bonafide students of this college during the previous academic year should produce their last year ID card and current admission fee receipt during registration. They should pay identity card price ₹50/- and borrower's card price ₹15/=.
If the identity card is lost, the concerned student has to pay a fine of ₹50/- and ₹50/- as identity card price.
The previous years’ borrower’s card / library books (if any) should be returned to the library before registration. Only one borrower’s card will be issued to a student and he/she can borrow only two books at a time.
Talent batch / Advance learner students can get two borrower cards.
Book borrowed on a card can be kept for a maximum period of seven days.
A fine of ₹1 will be charged per day on each book returned after the prescribed due date.
Extra fine will be levied if it is observed that the book has been damaged.
If any book is lost, the concerned student has to return a replacement copy of the same book, latest edition, or he has to pay the double price of the book as per latest prices.
The owner of the borrower’s card will be totally responsible for the book borrowed on it.
All transactions shall be made on the counter only.
Periodicals, handbooks, reference books and question papers will be issued on the Identity card to refer to in the library only. If not returned in time (same day), the fine will be charged ₹1 per day.
Members are requested to handle the Library reading materials with utmost care. Mutilation, writing, scribbling, marking, cutting pages has been strictly prohibited.
Users are requested to bring their ID card issued by the Institute while coming to the Library. The ID card is a must for borrowing Library resources, and is non-transferable.
Faculty and staff going on long leave, with or without salary, deputation, study leave, or extraordinary leave will have to return all borrowed materials before leaving the institute.
No material from the Library should be taken out without proper issuing/recording. Any type of violation may lead to a disciplinary action.
Reading Room Rules
As in the Library’s reading rooms, eating, drinking, cell phones, sleeping, and smoking are not allowed.
Kindly maintain the equipment in the study room and use it with care.
The Library is not responsible for personal belongings in the study rooms.
The Library being a place for individual study and research, members are requested to maintain an atmosphere ofdignity, peace and silence within the Library premises.
