The Department of Zoology was established in 1994 with an aim to provide quality education to students from remote, rural, underdeveloped areas of Konkan and especially to the economically and socially backward sections of society.
To train students in zoological sciences and to equip them to apply themselves meaningfully in any activity requiring zoological expertise.
